April 1-4th-BUTTERFLIES IN THE GARDEN Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens
12,000 live butterflies from North, Central and South America, Africa
and Asia will fill the conservatory Feb. 27-April 4. See native species
emerge from their chrysalises in the "pupae palace." Learn about the
role of pollinators in the balance of nature and in our daily lives.Tickets are sold for timed entrance every 30 minutes
beginning at 10am, with the last ticket sold at 4pm. Tickets sold for a
given time and date are to be used regardless of weather or light
conditions.

Seniors 65+ = $8.00
Children 3 -12 = $6.00 Strollers are not allowed inside the Butterflies in the Garden
exhibit in the Conservatory.
APRIL 2, 2010-WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS -UN World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) encourages all Member States to take measures to raise autism awareness throughout society and encourage early diagnosis and early intervention. Additionally, WAAD will celebrate the unique talents and skills of persons with autism and will be a day when individuals with autism are warmly welcomed and embraced in community events around the globe.

DECEMBER 2, 2010-PARADE OF LIGHTS! (Grapevine,
TX) Thousands of merrymakers will witness an enchanting display
of more than 100 colorfully lighted floats that will pass through
Historic Downtown Grapevine. Rolling to the tune of numerous marching
bands playing holiday music, the Grapevine Parade of Lights is North
Texas’ largest lighted Christmas parade. The parade starts at Main St.
and Vine St. and heads north on Main St. to Wall St. The parade is free

Night of Holiday Magic on Saturday, December 5 at NRH2O Family Water
Park, 9001 Boulevard 26. Residents are invited to join us from 4 p.m. to
8 p.m. for holiday music, dance, crafts, mini train rides, a
marshmallow roast, snow tubing hill, tree lighting and fireworks show,
photos with Santa, shopping in the holiday market and more. Be sure to

everyone time to enjoy this unique feature. Only one person per tube
